Save the Date Stumper

Ever since we got our epic engagement pics back, I've been playing around with ideas for our Save the Dates.  All along, I was certain that I'd DIY them.  I have that lovely Silhouette just sitting around, collecting dust after all.  But since then, I've realized that we simply won't have time for me to design, print and cut anything that will meet my perfectionist standards.  We have to get them in the mail ASAP, and there's no time to allow for the trial-and-error period DIY will require.  I'm frustrated with myself for not taking initiative earlier, but there's no use getting worked up over it.

So despite my reservations, we're going to have them printed online.  And now the question remains: which vendor to use?  Let's round up the usual suspects.

Wedding Paper Divas

I like the idea of this layout, especially the fact that the calendar is included.  This is the only color option, though, and it doesn't really fit into our color scheme.  Plus, the majority of our favorite engagement pics are landscape, and this layout only allows for a portrait orientation.

I love the font they use in this design.  It's elegant, but not stuffy.  And I like the fact that we can include three of our engagement pictures instead of just one.  Plus, there's three full lines of text for us to customize, so we can include our wedding website easily without leaving out other info.

This one kind of combines the previous two, with the triple photo and the modern, linear calendar.  I'm not sure I'm crazy about it, though.  It's a little plain, and there's not a lot of room for us to add the url for our wedding website.  It's a cute option, though.  Maybe if I play with it a bit I can make it work.

Minted: More expensive than Wedding Paper Divas, but printed on a higher-quality paper.  The designs are also the most unique of any I've seen.  Here are some of the top contenders:

Adorable.  I love that the photo is the main focus of the card, and the script and embellishments are beautiful.  Not a lot of options as far as customizing goes, and if we went with this option I'm not sure which photo we'd choose, but it's definitely one of my favorites.

I love this, but I'm not sure whether any of the photos we have will work well with this design.  The sample is gorgeous, but that's mainly because there's so much skyline, and none of our photos are really laid out this way.  It'd be worth playing around with, though.

How cute is this?!  I love all the design elements on the right side, juxtaposed with the simplicity of the single photo on the left.  I'm not sure whether it really fits our wedding style, but it has a fun element that I really like.  Although, we once again run into the issue of incorporating our website somehow.

Shutterfly: The most budget-friendly option, with a surprising number of options.  I've never ordered anything from the site before, but B's sister gets photo books from them regularly and is always pleased with the results, so I could order with a good deal of confidence.

Similar to the "Stunning Script" from Wedding Paper Divas, this one features three photos and multiple lines of text for us to customize.  I don't like the script font quite as well, but it's got all the elements we need, and is less expensive than its counterpart.

Simple and classic, you can't really go wrong with a style like this.  However, I'm just not sure it's special enough for us.  It reminds me of every other save the date I've ever gotten, and that's something I typically try to stay away from.  But sometimes simplicity is best.

Again, a simple yet beautiful design.  The fonts aren't quite as fun as some of the other designs I've seen, but I like that the picture is the main focus of the card, Plus there's plenty of room for all the details we were hoping to include.

Have you ordered through any of these sites?  Were you pleased with the result?  And which design do you think we should choose?
:
This was the most obvious option.  I've perused their website countless times, getting ideas for the styles and colors I liked.  They're moderately priced, and offer a wide variety of photo save the dates.  They seem to get good reviews, too, so I'm assuming the quality will be good.
