I realize I haven't talked much about what B and I are doing after the wedding. The truth is, until recently it had been virtually impossible for us to plan anything. We had no idea where we would be living and how much time we would have for our honeymoon. But now that our post-wedding life is finally definitive, we've been able to start seriously discussing our options!
So where should we go?
We're not really beach people...the mountains are much more our style, and our dream honeymoon destinations center around rugged landscapes with rich histories and cultures. Although our time constraints and limited budget won't allow us to take the trip to Ireland or New Zealand like we've always dreamed, our actual honeymoon excites me just as much as the idea of those trips did.
Can you guess where we're going? Let me give you a hint or two...

That's right, we're going to Yellowstone! I'm seriously so excited - I've never been there but have always wanted to go. We'll spend a few days in the Jackson Hole area, in beautiful Grand Teton National Park. Then we'll make our way through the Teton Pass and spend another few days in Yellowstone.
It's going to be an amazing trip - I'm so excited to spend some quality time just the two of us, especially after all the time we've spent apart lately! B has been to the area before, plus he's a rockstar navigator, so he's doing most of the planning which is fine by me! This is one area of the wedding where my control freak-ish tendencies are more than happy to let someone else take the reigns. Just looking at the pictures, I know it's going to be breathtaking, and I simply can't wait.
Did you have a non-beach honeymoon? Where did you go? And does anyone have tips for exciting places to go or things to see while we're in the Yellowstone area?
